Volunteer Spotlight: Runners

There’s now only one week left to apply to be a volunteer at the twelfth Flatpack Film Festival. If you haven’t applied yet…WHY?! There are so many cool roles to choose from!

This week, our fantastic Festival Producer, Chris, shone a light on the ever so important Runner role at the festival:

Runners are energetic problem solvers. They’re hands-on helpers for our production team and venue coordinators. As a Flatpack Runner, you’ll help us to produce events at some of the city’s most loved venues, and its best kept secrets.

You’ll help to transform our venue spaces, prepare for screenings, gear up for performances, and in doing so, help us to present the work of film-makers and artists from all over the world. Right here in Birmingham. It’s a perfect role for anyone seeking experience in making events happen.

Sounds fun right?

Volunteer applications close Friday 2nd March. Fill out this application form and let us know when you can volunteer and which role you would like to take on whether that be runner or any of the other many roles open to volunteers this year!

The 12th edition of Flatpack Film Festival will take place in venues across Birmingham from 13 – 22 April 2018.
