Newly released, the Body of Songs album brings together musicians and clinicians to create music inspired by the body’s organs. The result is a brilliant mix of ten tunes including songs by Bat for Lashes (skin), Goldie (brain), Dave Okumu (heart), Andreya Triana (lungs) and Ghostpoet (liver). In addition to the music, four animated films have been commissioned by Body of Songs' guest animation curator, Gary Thomas (Associate Director of Animate Projects) who has paired filmmakers with musicians and the respective bodily organ.

Once the films have screened we’ll be joined by animators Ben Wheele, Katerina Athanasopoulou, Sean Vicary, musician Raf Rundell (one half of The 2 Bears), and Gary Thomas to discuss the collaborations, and the project as a whole.
