A work-in-progress performance by the Sonia Sabri Company (led by Sarvar Sabri, Musical Director) with projected images and live music, played by musicians of different genres, backgrounds and faiths. Taking inspiration from Persian calligraphy known as Nasta’liq, the piece is a collaboration between calligraphers, a dancer and an animator. There’ll be a short discussion about the work following the performance.
