Social Media Workshop - JC Social Media

Social media has rapidly become the go-tool platform for anyone looking to build a brand, or raise awareness of an upcoming event. We all hear of things ‘going viral’ and spreading around the world in a flash, but how exactly do you maximise your chances of reaching as many people as possible, and how do you measure the success and impact of your activity?

In this session, we will look at what makes content shareable - we will try out some great free apps that allow you to create eye-catching graphics and thumb-stopping videos. We will look at the paid promotion tools available on Facebook and Instagram that allow you to target your precise audience with minimal spend, and we will explore some of the many analytical tools that are widely available to help you measure the performance of your posts and the growth of your profile

This session will be run by social media trainer and consultant David Glenwright from JC Social Media. One of only 8 trainers in the UK accredited by Facebook under their She Means Business initiative, David is an experienced social media campaign strategist, and an expert in helping brands and organisations getting the most out of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more.
