Dots & Loops #4 with Charlie Lyne
Our irregular social short film night Dots and Loops is back for a fourth edition, with filmmaker and film critic Charlie Lyne as our special guest. You may well know Charlie from his brilliant feature cine-essay Beyond Clueless (2014) which delves into the mind, body and soul of the teen movie, or Fear Itself (available on iplayer) which analyses what it is exactly about films that scares us. He’s also made some cracking short films which we’ll be screening, and he’ll introduce us to a selection of shorts that have inspired him in some way or another over the years.
This will also be an opportunity to see our new batch of Shorts for Free (of which Charlie’s very funny Fish Story is one) - four handpicked shorts that can be screened for free by exhibitors in the West Midlands. Get in touch for more details.
This screening is free for Flatmates. Interested in joining the gang? See more info here.
