James and the Giant Peach + Workshop
Continuing our Roald Dahl season at the Library of Birmingham as part of the Sunday Film Club, October sees one of Dahl’s delightfully dark children's stories, this glorious feast of stop motion puppetry tells the story of James and his magical journey with a team of bugs to New York City.
This screening will be accompanied by a drop-in clay model-making workshop taking fruit, bugs, and other characters from the film as the theme. The workshop will be delivered by Birmingham animation studio, Yamination. No need to book, just turn up.
The last two films as part of the season will be Matilda and The BFG (in November and December respectively).
