Momus
Momus is a singer, writer, artist and occasional tour guide from Edinburgh, currently living in Osaka. In the 1980s he was signed to independent labels like 4AD, Creation and Cherry Red. Since then he’s diversified into performance art and fiction, while continuing to make playful and erudite electronic folk records. His latest LP, Scobberlotchers, is a ‘post-breakup album’ inspired by Brexit. Live, he enacts the songs rather than just singing them, to the accompaniment of video visuals and ungainly dancing.
Presented in association with Centrala, with support from Matthew Edwards.
