Radio Dreams follows enthusiastic station manager Hamid Royani as he attempts to bring a little hardcore metal to his Iranian radio station.

Set in the USA, Radio Dreams follows enthusiastic station manager Hamid Royani as he attempts to bring a little hardcore metal to his Iranian radio station. Whilst attempting to facilitate a jam session between Metallica and Kabul Dreams (Afghanistan's first rock band), he struggles to recreate his homeland reputation in a country where everything is unfamiliar. Babak Jalali's film was inspired by real Iranian Metallica fans and is filled with nostalgia, brilliant humour and a cracking soundtrack - watch out for Lars Ulrich!

Dir: Babak Jalali USA 2016, 93 mins
