Our Colour Box day draws to a close with this beautiful animated feature from France.

A young boy called Maki manages to escape from the clutches of a slave trader, and finds himself on the road with a baby giraffe. What follows is a larger-than-life voyage from Sudan to Paris, complete with a pirate queen, a hot-air balloon and two flying cows, all beautifully rendered in 2-D animation that often resembles traditional Disney. This screening is presented in partnership with the Children's Cinema Club, a new family film initiative that launches this year.

Zarafa is suitable for all ages, but please note that the film will be screening in French with English subtitles.
