We first meet Paula (Laetitia Dosch) headbutting herself unconscious on her ex-boyfriend’s front door, and things proceed swiftly downhill from there.
Scooping up the ex’s cat and fashioning a beehive hairdo to cover the scar on her forehead (“Amy Winehouse!”), Paula embarks on a kamikaze journey through the Paris which tourists don’t see. Sharing an affinity with the likes of Fleabag and Daphne, Léonor Serraille’s raw, funny debut feature was made by a predominantly female crew and promises great things from both director and star.
