Call for Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers to help us make this year's Flatpack Festival the best yet!

Flatpack Festival is a film and arts festival based in Digbeth, Birmingham. What started out as a mixed-media film night in a pub has grown into an annual festival taking over numerous venues across the city. We couldn't make it all happen without an ethusiastic, dedicated team of volunteers every year.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for committed, proactive, individuals with have a passion for film, art, music, performance, and/or events. We would love to hear from people who are interested in making a positive impact as enthusiastic ambassadors for Flatpack.

Volunteers must be 18+ years old, and you must be able to work a minimum of 3 shifts during the festival (9 - 17 May). Shifts can take place mornings/afternoons/evenings or a mixture of these times.

  • A behind the scenes look into events production across a variety of Birmingham venues.

Volunteer Roles

There are a few different roles available:

  • Colour Box Support - events for children/families
  • Front of House Support - ticket sales and customer queries
  • Venue Coordinator - a bit more responsibility - front of house, volunteers and venue support
  • Evaluation Support - back office support, survey inputting
