A now popular tradition of the festival, Cartoon Rock brings together celluloid and cereal. Kick-starting a day dedicated to proper film, we’ve a treat for all the family with a very rare chance to see some old classics run through a couple of 16mm and 9.5mm projectors. Expect episodes of Felix the Cat, Bonzo the Dog, and a Chaplin crowd-pleaser to finish things off. If only every Sunday started like this.

Pianist Meg Morley will be on hand to provide live accompaniment for all the silent material.

Please note, due to unforeseen circumstances pianist Cyrus Gabrysch is no longer providing live piano for this event as stated in the brochure. Instead the fantastic Meg Morley will be providing musical accompaniment.
