Daniel Cockburn: How Not To Watch A Movie
Two horror films were released in 1994 which riffed on the power of storytelling: John Carpenter's In The Mouth of Madness and Wes Craven's New Nightmare.
As a child growing up in Canada Daniel Cockburn encountered both and was reshaped forever, and in this deft, funny lecture-performance he explores the discovery of a very special super power: "the ability to turn any film into a horror film simply by watching it." The price of admittance also includes a detailed grammatical analysis of power-ballad lyrics.
This event is suitable for 15 year olds and above.
Please note that latecomers will not be admitted.
