Join us for an afternoon of animation in Coventry's War Memorial Park.
After we share some of our favourite family shorts we'll be off down the rabbit hole for the Disney classic Alice in Wonderland. We'll also be getting crafty with Lightbox Cinema and their Alice in Wonderland themed workshop.
12pm Nature’s Tales
You’ll find all kinds of creatures, great and small, setting off on funny little adventures in this programme of colourful short animated films. Featuring an exuberant fire-fighting Rhino, a young musical stag on the lookout for a partner during mating season, and a greedy little reptile who bites off more than he can chew.
The short films will play on a loop from 12-2pm.
2pm Alice in Wonderland
After watching a scurrying rabbit in a waistcoat, Alice follows him down a rabbit hole to Wonderland, meeting an array of colourful creatures who defy all logic and reason.

This event is part of a series of film events and activities at various green spaces around Coventry as part of August's CineCov film programme, presented by Flatpack in partnership with Coventry UK City of Culture's flagship programme Green Futures.
