An opportunity to meet and hear from various filmmakers whose work is screening in the competition: Belgian filmmaker Vincent Lynen (Play Boys), Tim Grabham (Films to Break Projectors), Austrian visual artist Nikolaus Jantsch (Microscopia), Swiss animator Anete Melece (Analysis Paralysis) and Nicolas Menard (Wednesday with Goddard). Newcastle-based artist Deborah Bower will also be presenting her brand new expanded cinema piece, Throwing Waves* and will be talking about the processes behind it.
