Beware the Moon: The Wicker Man

Saturday 5th August, 2023

Dudley Castle | 19:30 - 23:30

The Wicker Man has achieved true cult status as one of the most revered horror films in cinema history. What better way to celebrate the films 50th anniversary than an open air screening at the historic Dudley Castle?

The film
After receiving a personal letter informing him of the disappearance of a young girl, a Police Sergeant flies to a remote Scottish island to investigate, only to find a strange, isolated community who uniformly insist that the girl never existed. Stranger still are the rites that take place there.

You might already know the drill with Beware the Moon events by now, but in case you need a reminder – there will be hot food, a licensed bar, mood-lighting & special effects, and a surprise or two thrown in for good measure. Don’t forget to bring along a chair and/or a blanket.

The screening is part of a Beware the Moon double bill, with Jaws screening on Friday 4 August.
