CineCov Presents: Bride of Frankenstein
This Halloween, CineCov presents a night of classic horror in the newly refurbished Chapel in London Road Cemetery.
This gorgeous venue will be a perfect atmospheric setting for Bride of Frankenstein, which was nominated for an academy award for best sound in 1936 and is considered one of finest gothic horror movies of all time (as well as one of the best sequels ever made).
The film is based on a subplot which can be found in Mary Shelley’s original novel, which suggests that a mate be constructed for the monster.
This event is produced by CineCov, brought to you by Flatpack on behalf of Film Hub Midlands with support from the BFI using funds from the National Lottery.
There’ll be some free popcorn on arrival and fancy dress is optional. Seating is provided but feel free to bring a blanket or cushion for extra warmth and comfort.
