Colour Box at Home: Dare to be Different

Saturday 27 - Sunday 28 November

Flatpack Website | 06:00 - 23:59

Our third and final (for now at least) Colour Box at Home edition celebrates what it means to be different - exploring differences in how we look, how we live, and why, above all else, it’s so important that we are all unique.

THE FULL PROGRAMME CAN BE VIEWED BELOW AND YOU CAN SKIP TO 31:21 FOR THE SECOND PART OF THE PROGRAMME FOR 6+.

We've got a truly delightful selection of films for you this month, including a Russian animated short about a girl whose mother is an aeroplane (imagine that!), The Penguin who Couldn’t Swim (no prizes for guessing what that one’s about), Dans la Nature - a charming, animated look at same-sex relationships in the animal kingdom, and the brilliant Cat Days, about a boy who may or may not be a feline.

All participants will receive a specially made activity book and a box of goodies.

How does it work?

The screening itself will be split in two - the first half for ages 3-5, and the second half is geared towards 6+, but there’s nothing to stop you watching it all (and there’s plenty to be enjoyed by adults too!). A special guest compère will guide you through the films and the activity pack.

The films will be available for 48 hours over the weekend 27/28 November, and you can watch as many times as you like over the course of the weekend. You’ll receive a link to the films via email and it will also be included in the pack.

What’s in the pack?

You will receive your pack a day or two before the 27th which will include an activity book with tasks, experiments, games and more. We like to keep what's in each pack a surprise, but to get an idea of what might be in store, here's what was included in the October activity pack:
