COLOUR CODED

Friday 23 November 2018

Centrala | 19:30 - 21:45

COLOUR CODED is an evening celebrating colour through film, music and sound.

We’re teaming up with Fizzle (Birmingham’s contemporary improvisation/jazz night) and BEEF collective (Bristol Experimental and Expanded Film) for an evening of audiovisual performance. Creating new scores to a selection of early colour short films include the musicians Piera Onacko (solo piano) and Rachel Musson (saxophone) alongside some of Royal Birmingham Conservatoire’s finest improvisors, whilst Canadian duo Instant Places will follow up with their AV show using vibrant generative visuals. Closing the night off are BEEF members Vicky Smith and Shirley Pegna who will perform Small Things - a short 16mm and sound piece.
