Metamorphosis

Animation is, by nature, the art of the metamorphosis, of turning an image into another to create a world out of nothing.

This idea is used to its full potential in these twelve films which play with forms, shapes and movements, for a mesmerising result. Two years after presenting Rhizome at Flatpack, Boris Labbé is back with The Fall, an epic work inspired by Bosch and Dante. Michael Frei (Plug and Play) presents the UK premiere of Kids, conceived as a film and a video game (come and try it in the hub!). Also screening for the first time in the UK is Still Lives, by Elli Vuorinen, who is joining us for Dots & Loops on Thursday night.
