A chance to create your own dance film in this informal screendance lab. Whether you’re a dancer, filmmaker, sound artist, musician or none of the above, everyone’s welcome to join in the fun. With an opportunity to play the role of both the filmmaker and the dancer, each participant will have a go at being behind and in front of the camera. Join filmmaker Sima Gonsai, musician Richard Shrewsbury and dancer Marie Louise Crawley to learn about techniques in capturing movement and dance on film, and be prepared to shake your hips a little too.
