This month's Colour Box programme of short films is all about friends and friendship, and we’re delighted to be presenting it with the Brewhouse Arts Centre in Burton, and the Midlands Arts Centre in Birmingham.
We may not have been able to spend as much time with our friends as we’d have liked over the last year, but remembering that they’re always there for us when we need them has certainly been a source of comfort. This selection of shorts celebrates all sorts of friendships, starring an assortment of characters and creatures from the very best of friends to unlikely allies and acquaintances. With films from all over the world, from Hungary to Japan, to the United States, this programme will leave you with a warm glow inside, just like a hug from an old pal.
Guiding us through the films will be Colour Box compere Sarah Hamilton Baker, and beneath the films you'll find a couple of activities that families can do together on the theme of friendship.
