Local films for local people

We've just been totting up programmes from the last 18 months, and realised that at some point during this event we'll be showing our 100th West Midlands short. Zowee! Submissions have been flying in thick and fast - agit-prop cut-ups, fuzzy strangeness, superhero comedies, hiphop graphics, spooky student shorts - and there's also new work from Bristol, Newcastle, Berlin and other such mythical places. We'll be doing a re-run of Brian Duffy's fabulous Spectrum Orchestra video, which went a bit jerky last time, and hot off the presses from Lex records is SSSR's animated promo for 'FKO' by Subtle, which can be seen in web form here.

All that's without even mentioning the live sets by Famolly (electronica from Coventry) and Scape (Moseley improv meets Czech animation), and backyard DJ action in the form of Jerry and Mike.
