This 2018 German film was nominated for two academy awards (Best Foreign Language Film and Best Cinemtography). The film was inspired by real events and tells the story of an art student who falls in love with a fellow classmate but her father doesn’t approve. However they are already connected to each other by a terrible crime the father commited as part of the Nazi holocaust.
