This tantalising thriller won the Palme d’Or at Cannes and was nominated for 5 Oscars including best picture.

Samuel is found dead by his son, having apparently fallen from an attic window in their alpine chalet. His wife Sandra is accused of his murder and goes on trial. A superbly layered script and outstanding acting grips you into this courtroom drama which reveals the unexpected and inner intricacies of a marriage.
