All these high-end, globe spanning, award winning short films are all well and good, but what happened to the good old YouTube video? Join the Flatpack programming team as we share some of our favourite series to ever grace the web.

Ian’s pick: Bobby Fingers:
Since the summer of 2022, Limerick prosthetics artist Bobby Fingers has been carving out his own beautiful little YouTube niche. His films offer sensuous, surreal detail on the process behind dioramas recreating unfortunate moments in the lives of male celebrities: Michael Jackson’s hair on fire; Mel Gibson pulled over for drink-driving; Steven Seagal getting taken out by a stuntman. Once complete, the dioramas are buried somewhere in the world, with clues to their coordinates scattered through the films. This afternoon’s screening is an opportunity to enjoy the full Fingers box set.

This is one of five ‘Best of the web’ programmes - check out the rest here.
