To mark the release of ‘The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent', CineCov and Showcase Coventry are teaming up for a mini season of Nicolas Cage movies!

Cage is one of those rare movie stars who approaches every role with an open mind and a loose grip on sanity. So join us for a celebration of this transcendent Hollywood legend with a string of some of his classic hits.

In this smash hit, Cage plays Stanley Goodspeed, a mild-mannered chemist and an ex-con must lead the counterstrike when a rogue group of military men, led by a renegade general, threaten a nerve gas attack from Alcatraz against San Francisco. The film co stars the late Sean Connery, who film theorists reckon his charcter is a sly, aged version of his beloved James Bond character.
