Join us at the Barber Institute of Fine Arts for a day of family fun inspired by the natural world.
With not one, not two, but three(!) drop-in workshops on offer, and a selection of brilliant short films playing throughout the day, there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained.
Animator Martin McNally will be running a workshop where you can contribute to a scene from the Disney classic Alice in Wonderland (check out a Scooby Doo equivalent below) and a stop motion animation workshop, whilst artist Sarah Hamilton Baker will be on hand to help people create their very own artworks using natural objects and the power of the sun.
Playing on loop in the lecture theatre will be a fantastic programme of short films, hand-picked from all over the world, featuring dancing sunflowers, a cunning hedgehog, and a funny bean who helps kids overcome their fears.
Fun for all ages.
This event is part of the Barber Institute of Fine Art's Family Festival - view the full programme on the Barber's website.
