Colour Box: Swimming Shorts & Blowing Bubbles

Undoubtedly one of the city’s architectural gems, Edwardian swimming pool Moseley Road Baths hosts a day of aquatic-themed films and activities for children of all ages.

Taking over the (water-free) Gala pool, we’ll be screening a selection of family-friendly short films about divers, swimmers and boating with brilliant animation and a Buster Keaton short that’ll have you slapping those thighs. At the other end of the pool, artist Sarah Hamilton Baker will be running drop-in workshops creating optical toys and marble paintings.

In the foyer Ritual - Tom Merilion’s 10 minute documentary from 1989 about a group of people who habitually met up to swim at Moseley Road Baths every Sunday - will play on loop.
