Colour Box: The Iron Giant

Bringing to life the much-loved story by British poet Ted Hughes, beautifully animated 1999 feature The Iron Giant tells the story of when a young boy forms an unlikely friendship with an iron giant from space. When the army try to destroy this enormous visitor, Hogarth does everything he can to protect his friend.

Before the screening, parents and children alike will have the opportunity to make their very own Iron Giant (or any kind of robot!) using found items from the scrap store and recycled materials.
