The BBC, MotoFest Coventry and Coventry City of Culture Trust invite you to an exclusive drive in cinema experience to celebrate Coventry, UK City of Culture’s Summer of Surprises, in partnership with Coventry City Council.

Coventry Cathedral: Building for a New Britain is an Illuminations production for BBC Four and explores how, in 1940, German bombers destroyed much of the city centre of Coventry and reduced the city’s medieval cathedral to rubble.

This film tells the story of the new cathedral, consecrated on the same site in May 1962 and incorporating the ruins of the old building.

Apply now for the chance to celebrate some unique stories of Coventry at an outdoor drive in cinema experience.

Tickets will be allocated by random draw, with 80% of the tickets going to Coventry postcodes and 20% going to the rest of the UK.

You can register at any time until 11.55pm on Tuesday 27 July and you can apply for a maximum of one ticket per household, which will admit one car. If you apply for more than one screening you will be allocated tickets for a maximum of one screening and these tickets will be non-transferable.

Visit the BBC website for more details.
