Enough with Catcalling

This powerful documentary (more poetically titled Chega de Fiu Fiu in Portuguese) originated in a crowd-funded campaign of the same name which encouraged Brazilian women to tag a map with their experiences of sexual harassment in public spaces.

The response was phenomenal and the resulting film follows three women including skateboarding trans artist Rosa and nursing student Raquel through their daily commute, using hidden camera footage to show how urban planning and transport policy can help to compound a feeling of powerlessness and constant jeopardy.
