Faust: Nobody Knows If It Ever Happened

On a winters night in 1996, Krautrock pioneers Faust took over the Garage in Camden with a battery of drums, guitars and welding-tools. The result was one of their most legendary performances, a performance which Nobody Knows If It Ever Happened captures in all its chaotic intensity. Zigzagging between mesmeric rock-out and stripped-down acoustic (literally stripped-down at times – be warned that this film contains hairy naked men) the band show that their curiosity and willingness to take risks has not been dimmed by time.
