Overlap is a fun quarterly show & tell night for animators and animation lovers to show work, share ideas and hang out. It was originally going to be part of the programme at Flatpack's Digbeth hub, but instead it's going online for the first time.
A few words from host and organiser Louis Hudson...
The event will place in a virtual bar on Zoom, as well as being streamed to YouTube live (details to come). Zoom audience numbers will be limited so register to get details. As with a real bar you will be part of a live audience, and using the Zoom's groups feature we'll be able to mingle in some side chats in the break.
This quarter we have Swatpaz, aka David Ferguson as our guest! He's guest-directed an episode of Adventure Time, makes idiosyncratically daft shorts, created online series, and is doing brillso things with #DreamsPS4. We'll also welcome Brummie in exile Jessica Ashman, talking about her journey as an artist and sharing part of her Dawta performance which was due to premiere at Flatpack 2020.
