Invisible Cinema is Ben Waddington’s exploration of Birmingham’s former picture houses, which over time have been demolished, abandoned, repurposed or generally absorbed back into the fabric of the city. However, the presence of these lost cinemas can still be detected and they have enduring stories to tell. You may even like to share your own memories of visiting these screens.  This 90 minute walk through the city centre is entirely an outdoor event but Ben will share images from his various visits to the cinema’s lost interiors.

Tickets must be bought in advance and suitable footwear for city walking is advised.
