Filming from all over the Potteries, with hundreds of comments from local working people in the pottery, steel and mining industries and other occupations.
Following the 1980 recession, the Potteries were taking stock of themselves. Artist Arthur Berry, Sentinel photographer Ernest Warrillow and Sir Richard Bai from Royal Doulton give perceptive overviews in this lively portrait of the city in a period of change.
