Massive x Deaffest Presents: Sound Of Metal

MASSIVE have teamed up with Deaffest to bring an exclusive free screening of Sound of Metal at Deaffest on Tour in Coventry.

Sound of Metal stars Riz Ahmed as Ruben Stone, the drummer in Blackgammon, a noise-merchant two-piece band. He tours the US in a converted RV with Lou (Olivia Cooke), his partner on and offstage. When Ruben’s hearing abruptly fails, he finds himself outside the bubble in which he has existed for so long. Struggling to face his uncertain future and also fight the demons of his past, Ruben is guided to a retreat where the possibility of a new way of life is offered. But will Ruben’s desperation to regain his hearing thwart future growth?

This Sound of Metal screening is presented by MASSIVE, with the short film A Sonic Pulse by Dorothy Allen-Pickard and Antoine Marinot, selected by Minute Shorts, playing before the film.
