Get ready to have the time of your life as Compton Verney host four outdoor screenings of some of your favourite films set against the backdrop of its majestic lakeside.

Directed by John Landis, this is a classic. subversive horror comedy about two American backpackers who are attacked by a werewolf while travelling in England, causing one of them to question whether he will become a werewolf under the next full moon. Spoiler - he does - in an incredible oscar winning transformation sequence that is still the industry benchmark by which all wearewolf movies are measured by.

Digbeth Dining Club will be joining us too, so get ready to eat delicious street food, sit back and relax and enjoy your favourite film!

If this is your first visit to an outdoor cinema event, here are a few things we’d recommend bringing along:

• Something comfy to sit on, seating is not provided. Camping chairs work well.

Please remember not to bring any pop-up structures or other items which could obscure the film for other visitors.

• Warm clothing and a toasty blanket to wrap up in, as the weather can often turn quite chilly later on in the evenings.
• You may also want to bring waterproof clothing, just in case… we are in the UK after all!

Please remember to pack up and dispose of any rubbish at the end of the evening. When leaving the event, a torch can also be useful but we will light your way with our festoons and driveway lighting!
