My Neighbour Totoro

Join us for some family film fun this summer as Allesley park becomes a cinema for the day...

Schoolgirl Satsuke and her younger sister, Mei, settle into an old country house with their father and wait for their mother to recover from illness. As the sisters explore their new home, they encounter and befriend playful spirits in their house and the nearby forest, most notably the massive cuddly creature known as Totoro!

This event is part of a series of film events and activities at various green spaces around Coventry as part of August's CineCov film programme, presented by Flatpack in partnership with Coventry UK City of Culture's flagship programme Green Futures.

It's also form part of Coventry's free Bands in the Park programme.
