Birmingham’s joyfully chaotic animation show and tell night returns bigger than ever.

Overlap is a night for animators and animation lovers to show work, share ideas and hang out, and it’s a whole lotta fun.

Special guests Will Anderson & Ainslie Henderson will be showing shorts and experiments, as well as teasing their new documentary feature.

There’s also an optional prompt for filmmakers wanting to submit films (which can be as short as 1 second!). This event’s prompt is ‘TOPFLOW’, make of that what you want. It’s not even in the dictionary.

Deadline for submissions is 15th May. Head to Overlap’s website if you want to submit work.

Overlap will be back the following day to do a Q&A screening of Will and Ainslie’s documentary feature, A Cat Called Dom.
