Cut-out magic in the wilds of Warwickshire

To complement new exhibition The Shadow, 7 Inch Cinema will be taking up residence at Compton Verney gallery (near Stratford-on-Avon, off the Fosse Way) on the 4th and 5th August 2007. Throughout the weekend you can catch screenings of Lotte Reiniger's beautiful 1926 animated feature The Adventures of Prince Achmed (pictured) as well as a selection of shadowy shorts and a drop-in animation workshop called Midnight Monsters, where Claire Evans will help you use a lightbox and scissors to make your own cut-out masterpiece. All included in the price of gallery entry.
