Short & Suite: Adventures with Archives

Shropshire-based MediaActive Projects in partnership with Birmingham's The Company have been working with young and emerging creatives to present Adventures with Archives - exploring new approaches to vintage film exhibition.

The process has involved curating and repurposing archive footage for contemporary audiences by creating new soundtracks, new narratives and new experiences. In this special event the young programmers will present a wealth of archive film with live music and spoken word performances alongside fun, interactive workshops.

Short & Suite is a programme of events that puts young people in the driver's seat, giving the next generation of filmmakers and film programmers the chance to showcase their incredible talents and curate the film events they want to attend.
