The search for a journalist who infiltrated one of the most repressive governments in Guatemala immerses us in the memory of a country forced into silence.
Throughout the 1970s, the journalist Elías Barahona, a.k.a. "El Topo"/ “The Mole”, operated at the heart of government. “The Silence of the Mole" seeks to uncover the story of this secretive and unique individual, and the silence that surrounds this country’s hidden history.
This screening will be followed by a discussion with director Anais Taracena and other special guests.
