SPACES(IN)BETWEEN - FILM SCREENING

Join Food Union for an evening of short films that celebrate its interest in both the cultivated and incidental growing spaces of our towns, cities, and green spaces.

As part of Food Union's continued work with City of Culture's Green Futures Programme they have commissioned three artists, a forensic botanist and a filmmaker to create several pieces of work that relate to or resonate with an outdoor walking route within the city. Ideally this route will have significance to the artist, whether it be through practice, admiration or as a place of retreat.

While that project occurs steadily in the background, Food Union will be screening short films that inspire its work and illicit conversations around the importance and necessity of green spaces and celebrate all the plants that occupy them.
