Stoke Screen Presents: Carol

Season 4 of Stoke Screen Film Club promises to be an eclectic mix of British gems and compelling international titles.

Nominated for six Academy Awards including Best Actress for Cate Blanchett, Carol tells the story of an aspiring photographer who develops an intimate relationship with an older woman in 1950s New York. The film is based on the 1952 novel 'The Price of Salt' by Patricia Highsmith.
