Stoke Screen Presents: In the House

Stoke Screen Film Club's Season 7 offers cinema audiences yet another marvellous mix of compelling international titles and copper-bottomed classics.

In the House is a 2012 French comedy drama directed by François Ozon, one France's most important contemporary filmmakers. Ozon brings his free wheeling satirical wit and saucy humour to the screen once again. This time, telling the story of a middle-aged literature teacher who strikes a chaotic dynamic with his precocious 16-year-old student, who gets him fired and seduces his wife, although they remain friends thanks to a passion for stories!
