STOKE SCREEN PRESENTS: Secrets and Lies

Stoke Screen Film Club is back for its eighth season, offering audiences another marvellous mix of international titles and Brit-flicks.

Mike Leigh's Palm d'Or winning film follows a successful young Black optometrist, who, after the death of her adoptive parents, establishes contact with her biological mother - a lonely white factory worker living in poverty in East London.
