BFI NETWORK Talent Camp is a training event for new and emerging filmmaking talent interested in making narrative fiction short films.
We will be joined by Festival Formula for an hour-long workshop looking at how to make your film stand out to festivals and build your festival strategy, as well as looking at a case study from a BFI NETWORK-funded short film team.
The workshop will be followed by a screening of BFI NETWORK short films from across England and networking drinks. The films in the programme are as follows:
This Little Girl
(Dir: Annette Westwood, 15 mins)
Type
(Dir: Lesley-anne Rose, 8 mins)
Pickney
(Dir: Michael Jenkins, 16 mins)
Run
(Dir: Ruth Greenberg, 12 mins)
Bingo Queens
(Dir: Nicholas Finegan, 16 mins)
BFI NETWORK brings together the UK's film agencies to discover, develop and fund new and emerging writers, directors, and producers.
Participation in the BFI Network Talent Camp is free and open to producers, writers, and directors from all creative disciplines with aspirations to produce short films.
