THE BELGRADE SILVER SCREEN PRESENTS: Singin' in the RAin + AFTERNOON TEA

Join us for Afternoon Tea followed by a screening of Singin' in the Rain in our brand-new Screen Room.

A spoof of the turmoil that afflicted the movie industry in the late 1920s when movies went from silent to sound, Singin' in the Rain follows silent movie stars Don Lockwood (Gene Kelly) and Lina Lamont (Jean Hagan). Don is on top of the world when their latest movie is made into a musical, with a chorus girl is brought in to dub Lina’s speaking and singing - until Lina finds out...

Doors will open from 12noon with afternoon tea served from 12.30pm on our 1st floor Burbidge Gallery. You will then be escorted to our brand-new Screen Room to watch the award-winning musical from 1.30pm.
