THE BELGRADE SILVER SCREEN PRESENTS: The Jungle Book + AFTERNOON TEA

Take the family along to the Belgrade for afternoon tea followed by a screening of The Jungle Book in the theatre's brand-new Screen Room.

In this classic Walt Disney animation (based on Rudyard Kipling’s book, 'Mowgli') an abandoned child raised by wolves has his peaceful existence threatened by the return of the man-eating tiger Shere Khan (George Sanders). Facing certain death, Mowgli must overcome his reluctance to leave his wolf family and return to the “man village.” But he is not alone on his quest: aided by Bagheera the panther, and later by the carefree bear Balloo (Phil Harris), he braves the jungle’s many perils.

Doors will open from 12noon with afternoon tea served from 12.30pm on our 1st floor Burbidge Gallery. A special children’s afternoon tea will be available for our younger guests. You will then be escorted to our brand-new Screen Room to watch the wonderful animated Disney movie from 1.30pm.

Please note: Places for Silver Screen events are limited and must be booked in advance. Early booking is recommended. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
